My Family
This web site presents information concerning my extended and recomposed family: Brearley-Calder (Scotland, Durham and Yorkshire), Gatheridge-Lindsay (Cardiff mainly), Mainwaring-Wright (Liverpool mainly) which has been extracted from a Family Historian v.7 database.
This is work in progress; indulgence is requested for errors and incomplete citations and sources. As the French say, perfection is the enemy of the good and the site can only improve with subsequent revisions. But I wanted to share what I've found out so far, especially with the family.
Major additions and revisions will be flagged between versions (see Methodolgy and Updates). Other than corrections and additions to existing individuals in the data base, this version extends the Charleton line (Calder) and Long line (Gatheridge) and adds the first installment of my research into my LINDSAY ancestors: Daniel and John.
