    Mixed farm of up to 191 acres.

     

    In 1920, the Royal Commission on Ancient and Historical Monuments inspected and recored a tumuli or burial chamber on Dingstopple farm with a circumference of 120 ft and a height at the summit of 10 feet.

     

    Dingstopple (Dung Staple) - recorded 1613 within the manor of Drim. Possible representing manured land. Tradition has it there was a mansion here, called Mungen or Mountain Hall.
